Today, they are starting to struggle with a paragraph of undiluted info. What's next? Mar 20, Kisha rated it liked it. If you ever thought that something was not right with the world, read this.
If you think that anyone who ever thought something was not right with the world, run when you see this book. There's what I consider to be mostly good information mixed with bad information. Things I agree with, and things I disagree with. What Icke does is pick through piles of various "conspiracy" related books and pieces other peoples research into his own work.
The only variation is you throw in some new age overtones and ancient astronaut stuff. Nothing about the Reptilians in this one though. I don't think his books are bad but I wouldn't recomend them to a novice who is just starting to research the new world order because you have to be able to weed out a lot and discern a lot of information.

But much essential information is revealed, and especially the first chapter and last two chapters plus postscript are admirable. I've no idea of when Icke was born, but he must have an immensely strong Saturn in his horoscope - and a Saturn-Mercury aspect - in order to master all these details.
The first chapter reveals some interesting information about the "hijacking" of Planet Earth by extraterrest I have to say that I found this in part the most boring book of David Icke's that I've read.
The first chapter reveals some interesting information about the "hijacking" of Planet Earth by extraterrestrial beings thousands of years ago.
Throughout the book Icke calls the consciousness of these controlling beings "the Prison Warder consciousness". This takeover led to a "blocking, imprisoning vibration" which prevents us from accessing the higher levels of our consciousness, making us forget who we are. Today a few of us have managed to dissolve this blocking frequency, and even more will soon do the same during the present period of spiritual awakening.
In other chapters we're appraised of the engineering of both World Wars, light is shed on both Kennedy assasinations and on Clinton's involvement in all sorts of illegal and nefarious activities, including drug traficking.
Again and again we are shown how the same characters are involved in all the dark schemes. In fact it seems like ALL the politicians and leading figures of the last century formed part of the Illuminati. Also, there is an interesting chapter devoted to cults and how we are manipulated into forming our views on them, in fact manipulated into regarding certain organizations as cults when in fact they are not.
Neither are the bulk of New Age adherents spared the author's condemnation. As I mentioned previously, the crowning work of the book is the last two chapters, where it is explained all about the "Great Transformation", as the author terms it, how all is not lost, but how essential it is for each one of us to break out of the control, and not be afraid to express our individuality and show who we really are.
When we do this no-one or nothing can harm us. In a fascinating postscript Icke describes an incident at a theatre where he sits next to Jimmy Carter and experiences the malevolent Prison Warder energy immersed in him. Finally by opening his heart and using the power of love Icke manages to shake off this horrific energy.
A fascinating and enlightening experience. I can recommend this book if you like me have perseverance enough or a strong Saturn like Icke to plough through endless details and long lists of names. The reward will be further understanding and enlightenment about the sorry state of affairs in the world, which "Truth" will help us to finally shake free of the Prison Warder Control engulfing our planet. Nearly pages of detail explaining the power and influence of those few who seem to have been able to control the majority, mainly through money, over the centuries.
Read it, digest, enjoy and move forward Nearly pages of detail explaining the power and influence of those few who seem to have been able to control the majority, mainly through money, over the centuries.
Read it, digest, enjoy and move forward to a more enlightened life. Sep 05, Scrw rated it liked it. This man is obviously a nut although I don't think he's that far off on some of his observations. This book entertained me although it wasn't fiction and it rambled considerably in more than a few chapters.
This is a classic conspiracy theory book that blames Jews and Masons for a lot of things. If you're not offended by that concept personally then it's not terribly hard to get through. Aug 07, Wendy rated it really liked it. Some may say he is just a conspiracy theorist. But his books are good reading and must have some element of truth in them to be bagged as conspiracy.
Certainly thought provoking and more stimulating than mainstream news. Oct 03, M. Jorasck rated it it was amazing. This book starts off reminding you that you're Infinite Consciousness so nothing is outside your grasp and then plunges into the mess the world is in, hoping you'll step up to do something about it! Very worth reading. This was such a mixed experience for me. I struggled to get through the first part. Too many details, names, dates, and historical stuff for my brain to digest or hold its interest. The overall ideas and societal, spiritual, human and psychological elements, on the other h This was such a mixed experience for me. The overall ideas and societal, spiritual, human and psychological elements, on the other hand, I was very interested in.
And I do believe, intuitively, that much of what Icke is pointing to has truth and validity. And that there are a lot of pawns and scapegoats in this play, that have no idea what they are doing or what role they have been assigned.
I also believe that what Icke writes in the second half of the book, about how we can set ourselves free, how we are all One, how Love and Respect is the answer to the worlds problems. And the way Icke writes about this, I felt a strong resonant twitch and leap of joy in my heart, as I read it. More so than in the first part of the book. Whatever that might mean. Sep 19, Daniel Mihai Popescu rated it really liked it. Don't underestimate Mr. Icke, I feel he's right. Anyway this book is nonfiction and the facts are all corroborate with logic and different other sources.
Mar 21, Hatebeams rated it really liked it. One of Icke's better early books. All the core information is here, sans the Reptoid elite, which is a pity as that's the tastiest part. David still manages to end on a positive note, bless 'im. The truth shall set you free Jun 08, Thordur added it Shelves: weird. Well it took me a long time to read this one, a year or more. That is because there is so much material in this book and lots of it is really heavy.
The focus is surprisingly not on aliens here but on the system of this earth. The financial system, the political or religious to name some. Then there all kinds of info as I get to wonder who told him all of that stuff. Oct 27, Dory rated it liked it. I learned a lot about how our monetary system has been controlled for generations.
Thought-provoking material about why we are so easily led by the powerful in our lives. Some spiritual- encouragement to let our light shine. View 1 comment. Apr 19, Mick Glasgow rated it really liked it. I see these Icke books now as being good entertainment and food for thought but have given up considering the complete reality of a world under the spell of a dark intentioned cabal of Reptiles.
